Dear Parents and Friends,

Thank you for visiting the St. Rose Religious Education web page. Whether  you are a new or returning family to our program, a family considering becoming a part of the St. Rose community, or just a curious web surfer, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you.  As we develop and add material to this site, I hope you will find it both a source of useful information as well as inspiration.

 Now that summer vacations have ended, and school shopping is just about complete, many of us are putting together busy fall and winter schedules. Please don't forget to include the religious education calendar in your plans, with dates to reserve for classes, retreats, children's liturgies and other special events we are planning for this year's program.  Just as we recognize the importance of helping our children to be properly prepared for school, so too the same care and planning is needed to ensure our children's faith development.

 I am particularly grateful for our dedicated volunteer teaching staff.  All of them donate their time because they believe, like many of us, that the faith development of our youth is vitally important.  They spend a great deal of time preparing weekly lesson plans for our children, and by their example, they also witness to their faith.

 Registration in the religious education program, regular Mass attendance, and involvement in parish life can all witness to our faith priorities.  How can we insure our children are properly prepared for the new religious education year?
